Youth Poet Laureate Wows Inaugural Crowd

Twenty-two year old, Harvard University graduated, Amanda Gorman, became the youngest poet in United States history to read her work at a presidential inaugarion.  While a student at Harvard, Gorman won the title of Youth Poet Laureate, a title held by a young person who demonstrates skill in the arts, particularly poetry and/or spoken word, is a strong leader,  committed to social justice, active in civic discourse.

The Hill We Climb and Other Poems is her debut collection of poetry
